Caries treatment

In our clinic we use the most advanced technologies in the treatment of dental caries and are pleased to present you the latest and absolutely unique development of German scientists, which is a revolutionary solution, without drilling and loss of healthy hard tissue of the tooth!

Icon - is the only infiltration system in the world, designed specifically for gentle treatment of caries in the staining stage, which fills the micropore system of the destroyed enamel and thus stabilizes the state of hard tissues and prevents further spread of caries deep into the tooth!

But, if, after all, caries has spread to deeper layers of the tooth, then the only way to cure the affected tooth is to seal it (aesthetic restoration).

Aesthetic restoration of the tooth

A prerequisite for good restoration is the use of insulation of the tooth with a rubber cofferdam, which ensures that the seal is not properly glued to the surface of the tooth. Our results are the fruit of many years of scientific work and practice of the clinic specialists.

Modern materials and techniques allow to make the restoration of teeth with a guaranteed long-term prognosis. In our practice, we use a CJ Flexion microscope and Planmeca Pro-X visiograph to monitor the quality of the work performed.

The concept of the work of four hands is fundamental in admitting patients to the clinic, which provides for the simultaneous interaction of a doctor and a qualified assistant.

CHILDREN'S DENTISTRY

At the first visit to the doctor, the foundations of the relationship of the small patient to the dentist, to the situation, to some kind of manipulation in a child’s mouth are laid. And the main task is to locate the baby and not scare him. From this will largely depend on the mood with which the child will visit the dentist in the future..

Prepare the child for the visit no earlier than 1-2 days before admission. A family member who is not afraid of the dentist, because children feel fear and start to be afraid.

We can say that the doctor "will see how you brush your teeth and count them.".

For a better adaptation of the little patient, it is advisable to play with the child at the doctor, explaining how to enter the office, how to sit in the chair, ask to open your mouth and hold it open.

You need to visit the dentist for the purpose of "dating." The doctor will talk with the child, establish a trusting relationship, show “helpers” in order to look at the teeth and “calculate how much they have grown”.

It is necessary to visit the dentist at least twice a year, and preferably a little more often - tooth enamel in children is not as strong as in adults. And most importantly, with frequent visits to the dentist, it is usually possible to ignore the stress for the child and complex manipulations.

On the first visit, we will examine the baby's oral cavity, and also, if necessary, make radiographs. Most children find these procedures interesting and enjoyable.

TREATMENT OF MILK TEETH CARIES

Many parents think that if a child brushes his teeth regularly and has no visible problems, it is not necessary to visit a doctor. This is not true. A child can get caries of milk teeth completely unexpectedly and completely different factors can be the cause. Therefore, routine examinations should be carried out regularly, otherwise there is an immediate opportunity to miss the onset of the disease.

If you want your child's teeth to be healthy and beautiful in the future, then you need to start with the treatment of initial caries, which has a negative effect on the state of baby teeth and on the formation of permanent teeth.

A feature of our clinic is the photodocumentation of dental treatment in children with further demonstration. This process enhances the motivation of children for dental treatment, clearly demonstrating the carious damage and the result of our treatment is a white, healthy clove.

CARIES OF MILK TEETH AND ITS IMPLICATIONS

The obvious factor in the occurrence of early caries in children is that milk teeth have a low degree of mineralization and erupt “immature”, and only then “ripen”. It is at the time of the emergence of milk teeth that they are most vulnerable. The reasons for the occurrence of caries in a child 2 years old and earlier may be chronic diseases, the effect of medications, the composition of saliva and the fluoride content in water and food.

Children's caries treatment requires immediate and effective, otherwise if you lose a baby tooth, and this often happens when the disease forms are neglected, the child will have to undergo an exhausting prosthetic procedure, which will cost much more than the treatment of the disease in the initial stage. It is undesirable to leave an incomplete dentition, since the absence of one or several teeth worsens the process of chewing food, which in turn negatively affects the state of the gastrointestinal tract.

TREATMENT OF TEETH WITHOUT BOLDER

The method of treatment of caries in the stage of chalky stains with the help of the drug ICON. The meaning of the procedure is that after cleansing the enamel from plaque, a gel with a weak acid is applied to the carious stain, which removes the surface layer of enamel, and then a highly flowing polymeric material is cured by the light of the special lamp. At the same time, polymer resin fills the pores of enamel and hardens in them, creating a new durable and reliable structure.

ADVANTAGES OF TREATING CARIES BY ICON IN CHILDREN:
  • the treatment is completely painless;
  • preservation of healthy tooth tissues - dental treatment for children without drilling;
  • stopping the development of caries in the early stages;
  • obtaining an excellent aesthetic result - the tooth surface cannot be distinguished from healthy enamel;
  • ICON caries treatment prolongs the life of a tooth;
  • There are no contraindications, only children up to 3 years, because at this age, children can not sit quietly even 15 minutes and they can be injured.

Therefore, dear parents, take care of the health of your beloved children and treat the initial caries in a timely manner at a favorable cost, and in the future your children will thank you for a beautiful white-toothed smile.

HERMETIZATION OF FISSURES

Fissure sealing is a method for preventing dental caries. It must be said that caries has two favorite areas - teeth fissures and interdental spaces. In these places (due to the anatomical shape) - food delays that are necessary for the development of cariogenic microorganisms are well retained.

Sealing should be carried out immediately when you find that the child has completely erupted a permanent chewing tooth. It is most effective to carry out the sealing of fissures in the first 6 months after the eruption of the tooth into the oral cavity. At the age of 6-8 years, the first permanent molars (6 teeth) are sealed. In 10-11 years old premolars are sealed (4th and 5th teeth). At 12-13 years old - the second permanent molars (7th teeth). Also, dentists recommend sealing the fissures on the milk teeth, as they are very vulnerable to caries, that is, as soon as the milk molars erupted (at the age of 3 years).

There are several techniques for sealing fissures. The choice of a particular technique is carried out by a doctor based on the results of a visual examination, as well as additional diagnostic methods, such as x-ray. Non-invasive sealing of fissures - it is used in case fissures are fully accessible for visual inspection, which guarantees the absence of caries in the area of the bottom or walls of the fissure. Invasive sealing of fissures - is used in the case of deep and narrow fissures, when the bottom and walls of the fissures cannot be subjected to visual inspection. The goal of the invasive method is to: adjust the anatomical shape of the fissure and fossa to provide access and improve visibility; Fissure examination to ensure there is no undetectable carious process.

Specialists of our clinic will help you choose a suitable method for herding fissures for your child, depending on the age, condition of the teeth and the patient's dietary preferences.

ORTHODONTICS

Today, a beautiful open smile is an integral part of the image of a successful person. After all, with the help of it, we not only express our emotions, but also attract people to ourselves. A beautiful charming smile can become a business card for you and your child, both in the business world and in your personal life. Many people are embarrassed to smile broadly - the reasons for this may be different - but in most cases - these are uneven teeth. Uneven teeth and incorrect bite can cause various psychological problems, problems with periodontal tissue diseases, lead to multiple caries, as well as violations in the temporomandibular joint, and even back problems.

Orthodontics is a section of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of dental anomalies, improper bite.

  • Orthodontic treatment is possible at any age!
  • The first consultation with an orthodontist is necessary at the age of 6-7 years.
  • Free nasal breathing, the absence of bad habits, hard food - contributes to the formation of the correct bite
  • The psychoemotional state of an adult is an essential factor in justifying the need to treat bite abnormalities
  • The duration of treatment and the design of the orthodontic apparatus depends on the age of the patient and the type of bite pathology
  • Preservation of healthy, beautiful teeth to extreme old age is one of the indicators of high quality of life
  • Everyone should smile broadly, blindingly, happily!

To correct the bite in our clinic, the following systems are used: removable (trainers, plates, mouth guards), fixed - braces systems (metal, ceramic, sapphire braces) and lingual. Alignment of teeth passes for the patient comfortably and painlessly, but requires patience, because the desired result will be noticeable and noticeable only after a while.

Regardless of the methods of leveling and correcting the bite, all orthodontic treatment is divided into the following stages:

  • Diagnostic - X-ray examination, taking of impressions and their diagnostic measurement are performed, the tactics, goals and objectives of treatment are determined, the necessary equipment is selected
  • Preparatory - treatment of caries, removal of dental plaque, if necessary - surgical manipulation, plastic frenulum, extraction of teeth, etc.
  • The main one is the installation of orthodontic appliances and their wearing until the desired results are achieved.
  • Retention - consolidation of the results of treatment with special equipment. After the teeth have taken the right position, the braces (mouth guards) are removed and the retention apparatus (or retention mouthguard) is necessarily installed, which is necessary so that the teeth do not return to their original position. Retention apparatus is almost invisible.
ORTHODONTIC TRAINERS

It is now established that in 70% of cases, bite disorders occur under the influence of excessive pressure of the muscles surrounding the jaws. In this case, in the case of elimination of this cause, the occlusion anomalies that had already begun to form, undergo a reverse development, and in some cases even lead to a noticeable improvement.

Therefore, even at the stage of formed temporary bite, and during the formation of permanent bite, it is possible to use functionally guide devices - pre-orthodontic trainers. In this case, it becomes possible to eliminate bad habits (sucking the tongue, finger), or excessive pressure of the muscles of the maxillofacial region, which leads to improper bite formation in child.

The method allows you to start correcting the bite at an early age, starting at age 5, with the simplest and most painless method for a child. Over time, the function of the muscular system is normalized, normal acts of breathing and swallowing are restored, which allows to avoid relapses in the future.

The trainer is made of elastic silicone, and allows you to gently remove the excess pressure of the muscles of the maxillofacial area on the tooth rows, separates the lips and the vestibular surfaces of the teeth, and also positions the tooth rows relative to each other. They wear pre-orthodontic trainers during a night's sleep and only 1 hour during the day.

As a result of the treatment, the child smoothly corrects the bite at an early age, the teeth are leveled and the facial features are noticeably improved. In addition, there is often no need for further orthodontic treatment.

Children's orthodontic plates are one of the most effective methods for the correction and prevention of bite pathologies in children.

The bite begins to form with the appearance of milk teeth, and it is very important during this period to ensure that the teeth and jaws grow properly.

Correct bite is much easier when the jaws are only formed, that is, in childhood and adolescence. Children's orthodontic plates in this case are the best option.

IMPLANTATION AND BONE PLASTIC

Dental implants have been used for more than 10 years to replace missing teeth. Implantation techniques have long received scientific substantiation, and the methods and concepts of their use change and improve every year. Implants allow you to restore both individual teeth, and are the backbone of the structures on the edentulous jaws.

In the absence of a sufficient amount of bone tissue necessary for the installation and operation of implants in our clinic, various methods of bone volume recovery are applied. To do this, we use high-quality certified plastic materials from leading manufacturers.

In our clinic, we use mostly fixed types of permanent prosthetics on implants.

WHAT IS IMPLANT?

The implant is a rod of titanium alloy and is analogous to the root. The external thread fixes it in the bone, and the internal thread connects it to the abutment. On which, in turn, the crown is fixed.

The implant installation procedure takes 10-15 minutes and is performed under local anesthesia. If it is necessary to remove a tooth, then in our clinic, it is often planned to implant into the hole of the extracted tooth - simultaneous implantation.

At the same time, the healing of the hole and the integration of the implant take place simultaneously.

As a rule, prosthetics after implant installation are transferred in 3 months. If necessary, temporary structures are made for this period.

ADVANTAGES OF USING IMPLANTS IN PROSTHESIS:
  • Allow to save adjacent teeth and not overload them.
  • The possibility of obtaining a high level of comfort and aesthetic results.
  • Durability with proper care
  • The possibility of prosthetics of the edentulous jaws with fixed structures.

The operating unit in our clinic is equipped with modern equipment and allows for various interventions in the oral cavity with maximum patient comfort.

Dentalika is the official partner of Nobel Biocare. Implants, the production of which is the highest quality solution for patients in various clinical cases.

PROFESSIONAL ORAL HYGIENE

Professional hygiene is a set of measures that includes cleaning the surfaces of teeth from plaque and stone, eliminating infection in the root canals, maintaining a healthy gingiva and bone tissue around the teeth.

In our practice, we use Sirosonic (Sirona) ultrasonic scaffolds made in Germany and an apparatus for high-quality powder-jet treatment of teeth and root surfaces (implants) NSK Prophy Mate Neo and NSK Perio Mate for cleaning dental deposits. The result is healthy and clean teeth and gums with no signs of inflammation for a long period.

BEYOND TEETH BLEACHING METHOD

Tooth whitening is usually done by applying hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to the dentin of the tooth (which is located directly under the enamel). When hydrogen peroxide penetrates the enamel, the pigmentation in the dentinal tubules oxidizes and a white color appears that shines through the translucent enamel.

In traditional teeth whitening systems, lamps are used to emit heat in addition to light to stimulate the oxidation process. The disadvantage of this method is that heating causes many side effects, including itching and irritation of the skin, irritation of the gums, burns from mild to severe. In addition, most lamps emit harmful ultraviolet radiation.

Beyond Laser Teeth Whitening System does not have these harmful effects due to the use of high-intensity blue light, which is filtered through more than 12,000 optical fibers. At the output, the light is filtered through two optical lenses, which have more than 30 layers of special coating. Cold blue light falling on the teeth, has a wavelength of 480-520 nm, which is the optimal range for teeth whitening. Harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation is completely removed by the filtration system, only a focused beam of cold light from the blue-blue spectrum remains. This light penetrates deep into dental tissues, causing an oxidation process without any harmful side effects.

AESTHETIC PROSTHETICS

Aesthetic and functional prosthetics is one of the most high-tech and technologically advanced processes in modern dentistry. The materials, technologies and requirements of the patient for appearance and comfort are changing. In this case, the qualifications of a doctor and a dental technician play an important role along with the equipment of the clinic and technical laboratory

The principle of our clinic is a comprehensive scientific approach of highly qualified specialists, aimed at solving problems at each stage of treatment. Well-established protocols, work experience and clinical thinking of the entire team of specialists of the clinic allow us to achieve excellent results in the optimum time.

A denture is a biomechanical design that allows you to restore a lost organ - a tooth.

The orthopedic surgeon is a kind of architect who, under the conditions of the individual biological environment, must restore or change the situation in the oral cavity with the help of new restorations. At the same time, the process of planning such works based on modern scientific concepts with the direct participation of the patient is very important. We repeatedly emphasize that the patient is a participant in the treatment process and makes the final decision on the choice of a treatment plan option and prosthetic design.

Not a small role for the implementation of excellent results is the level of equipment that the clinic has. Panoramic x-ray Planmeca ProMax 3D Max allows you to clearly visualize the problems of each patient and, along with sighting images, the Pro-Sensor visiographs and CT data provide you with the most accurate information at each stage.

Sirona's CEREC Omnicam intraoral scanner allows you to get a color digital print right in your chair without using impression materials. With the help of such technologies, it has become possible in the shortest possible time to produce ultra-precise aesthetic designs that meet high international standards. At the same time, we can make small works, for example, single crowns or veneers on the first visit. The clinic has its own digital 3D laboratory, which is equipped with the latest equipment from leading manufacturers.

Technical scanner InEos X-5 (Sirona) converts the analog model of teeth into a digital image. Using the InLab-15 program, a virtual image of future teeth is modeled on a computer and on a CEREC MC XL Premium Package grinding and milling machine a bridge, crown, veneer or other selected structure is machined with high precision from a selected ceramic block. Subsequently, they are individualized by a dental technician and the doctor fixes in the mouth.

Laboratory Dentalika is our pride and allows you to maintain the communication of the doctor with the technician and patient during the entire treatment. The latest equipment and modern software today play a key role in the success of orthopedic treatment. A large selection of modern materials, careful control of the stages of manufacturing structures is a distinctive feature in the manufacture of restorations in the clinic.

The CJ Flexion operating microscope, along with other optical devices used by doctors, is an important tool for monitoring the quality of any restorations directly at the medical reception.

NON-METAL CERAMICS

Modern aesthetic restorations are made without a metal frame and realize the following characteristics:

1. Strength up to 1000 MPa (for comparison, a metal-ceramic crown has a strength of up to 80 MPa)

2. Aesthetics (ensures the transmission of light through the structure of the material - identical to a living tooth)

3. Biocompatibility (hypoallergenic and non-toxic)

4. Production speed.

Such restorations realize their properties with minimal thickness, so there is no need for significant grinding of the tooth.

Also, the advantage of metal-free ceramics is the possibility of gluing it in the tooth, so there is no need to grind the tooth from all sides, as if under a crown. The teeth remain alive, and processing is usually done within the enamel.

Binocular loupes and an operating microscope allow the doctor to control the minimum grinding of the tissues of his tooth and to achieve accuracy at all stages of work.

TREATMENT OF PARADONT DISEASES

Periodontal disease is associated with a chronic bacterial infection that affects the gums and jawbone. This infection can affect not only oral health, but also other diseases like diabetes or cardiovascular diseases. Smoking, stress and hereditary factors can also support periodontal disease. Sometimes, the association between periodontal diseases and other systemic diseases potentiate each other: this means that not only periodontal disease can be provoked by other systemic diseases, but also periodontitis can have a strong impact on the course of systemic diseases.

Gum inflammation is usually the result of insufficient or inadequate personal and occupational hygiene, when plaque that contains bacteria is not regularly removed. The patient and / or dentist may see that the gum is red, slightly swollen and bleeds easily. This early stage of the disease, when only the soft tissues of the gums are involved, is called gingivitis. Usually, gingivitis does not cause specific discomfort for the patient and therefore this condition does not force him to visit the dentist. Bleeding gums are traditionally considered a “normal” phenomenon and are not regarded as a symptom of the disease. In some cases, even dentists do not diagnose gingivitis if the patient does not complain of discomfort.

Specialists of our clinic produce a qualified examination and complex treatment of periodontal diseases using the latest devices and techniques.

X-RAY DIAGNOSTICS

For your comfort, Planmeca Pro-X X-ray visiographs with the latest generation Planmeca Pro-Sensor sensors from Finland are installed in each room. This allows the doctor in the chair at any time to carry out x-ray control at all stages of treatment.

The clinic has a separate x-ray room with a device for high-quality panoramic images of Planmeca ProMax 3D Max. At the same time the digital image is instantly transferred to the office of the attending physician.

TREATMENT OF ROOT CHANNELS

Insufficient attention to the condition of the teeth and their late treatment leads to the progression of caries and the development of its various complications.

Endodontics is a branch of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of pulp and root canal systems.

Endodontic treatment consists of a complex of manipulations aimed at eliminating the inflammatory process in the tooth cavity and preventing the spread of infection beyond its limits into the jaw bone.

Tooth root is a complex treatment facility. First, it is inaccessible to visual control, that is, it is impossible to look into it in order to examine it carefully. Secondly, the tooth root canals are very variable in their structure - they can deviate, form pockets, branch and connect with each other. This is associated with the difficulties of processing and sealing them.

After a thorough examination, diagnosis, and deciding on the need for canal treatment, they choose treatment tactics that depend on the type of pathology in the canals.

Mandatory manipulation is to isolate the tooth and root canals using a cofferdam system to prevent saliva from entering the oral cavity and prevent disinfecting solutions from flowing into the oral cavity of the patient.

In the treatment of channels there are 3 main stages:

  • Provide access to the channel;
  • Removal of contents from the canal, disinfection and preparation of the canal for sealing;
  • Channel filling with an inert biocompatible material that promotes durable sealing.

Access to the canals is done by removing all tooth-damaged tooth decay to provide the cleanest and most sterile working area possible. The operating microscope allows us to easily detect the entrance to the canals, to monitor the purity of the root canals, the uniformity of the material before filling the canal with gutta-percha. And if necessary, re-endodontic treatment of the microscope is simply indispensable for the detection of:

  • hidden cracks;
  • wreckage tools;
  • deviations from the main course of the channel;
  • пperforations (artificial hole in the tooth or its root) in the root canals

Then we remove the contents from the canal - the pulp, its decay products, microorganisms, affected dentin, determine the working length of the canal and prepare it for sealing

Accurate determination of the length of the tooth canal is very important, since it allows you to avoid possible complications. The working length of the channel is determined using an x-ray and a special device - an apex locator.

When working with root canals in our clinic, we use an innovative Israeli development, which has no analogs yet in the dentistry market - the SAF - Self Adjusting File system (a file self-adapting to the anatomy of the canal). This technology allows treatment with minimal damage to the natural structure of the tooth, while giving higher efficiency due to the full amount of treatment of the root area.

In addition to this, intracanal ultrasound treatment is carried out to provide a full antiseptic effect on the microbial accumulations remaining before the “blind” areas, contributing to the persistent, recurrent course of the infectious process.

Our clinical practice shows that the use of ultrasound inside the canal significantly reduces bleeding, facilitates and accelerates the passage and expansion of the root canals, opens additional dentinal tubules, expands and cleans them, thereby ensuring high quality processing while saving time.

The last stage is important and responsible - obturation (canal filling) with a material that should reliably seal the canal. The reliable tool for this is the channel sealing system SybronEndo System B ™.

For quality control, we use the Planmeca Pro-X digital X-ray unit, SybronEndo Apex ID ™ apex slots and the CJ Flexion dental microscope.

X-ray diagnostic and computed tomography data are processed and stored using the latest Planmeca ROMEXIS program (Finland). The operating microscope allows us to easily detect the entrance to the canals, to monitor the purity of the root canals, the uniformity of the material before filling the canal with gutta-percha.
